The biomechanical preparation of root canals is essential in endodontic treatment, as it removes pulp tissue, bacteria, and by-products while shaping the canal for proper sealing and preserving its original anatomy. To optimize this process, Nickel-Titanium (NiTi) files were developed with enhanced mechanical properties through thermomechanical treatments. The M® (MF) files, manufactured by Easy Dental Equipment in Brazil, represent a system of manually activated rotary files in a clockwise direction. These files have a controlled memory (CM) treatment, which provides them with greater flexibility, resistance to cyclic fatigue, and torsional stress, allowing them to deform and recover their original shape when heated. These instruments offer versatility to adapt to anatomies of varying complexity. The present case report describes an innovative technique, adapted from the balanced force concept, for canal preparation with the MF manual system, through a report of four clinical case cases. The technique focuses on improving the cost-effectiveness, safety, and simplicity of the endodontic procedure, with particular utility for dental students, general practitioners, and public health centers. This methodology minimizes the risk of instrument fracture by reducing torsional and flexural stress, issues frequently associated with conventional techniques. In conclusion, the technique using MF files in the cases presented demonstrates potential to optimize cost-effectiveness and provide additional benefits, especially for students and general practitioners. Instrumentation with the MF system is efficient, easy to learn, and practical for root canal preparation.
