Abordaje clínico del radix entomolaris en endodoncia: Reporte de 2 casos

Abstract

The anatomy of root canal systems and the interpretation of morphology is crucial to obtain an optimal endodontic treatment outcome. Radix entomolaris is an anatomical variation in mandibular molars. Proper diagnosis is critical to identify this supernumerary root and prevent misdiagnosis, which could potentially lead to an unfavorable outcome. The aim of this article is to describe the successful management of two cases presenting radix entomolaris in the mandibular first and second molars.
