Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly.

Manuscripts should be submitted in Word processor format (word.doc) double-spaced with Arial font size 12, A4 page size, and 3cm margin spacing on all sides. Each section should begin on a new page, following consecutive numbering.

Additionally, it should include the full names and affiliation of all authors (department and institution where the study was conducted). Graphics and Images: These should be submitted separately in TIFF or JPG format, with a minimum resolution of 600dpi and 300 pixels. Microphotographs should detail the magnification, bar size, and method used.

In the text, references will be cited with Arabic numbers in parentheses, numbered in the order of citation. The reference list should enumerate the order in which the reference citations appear in the text and all authors of the cited study. Examples:

Articles:
1. Zehnder M. Root canal irrigants. J Endod. 2006;32(5):389-98.

Books and book chapters:
2. Seltzer S, Bender IB. The dental pulp: biologic considerations in dental procedures. 3rd ed. Philadelphia: Lippincott; 1984. p400.

If necessary in the text, authors may be cited singly or multiply. For example, for two authors: "Ricucci and Siqueira". For more than two authors: the first author followed by "et al." is sufficient (example: "Ordinola-Zapata et al.").

Original Articles

Equipment, instruments, and chemicals should be detailed, including the company name, city, state, and country. For commercial products, the product name, manufacturer, city, and country should be indicated in parentheses. Repetition of information in the Results section is not recommended. It is recommended to include clinical relevance, study limitations and strengths, implications of the results for future studies, and clinical practice.
